Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that moment. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came in second place in the 200 meters in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas to become professional athlete. In the following year, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed in the top three of athletes in each of her events.
