Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for sports early, and discovered her ability to sprint during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix was 2nd in the 200-meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then was accepted into at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She broke an Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest 200-meter world champion at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her longtime Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 in her various races at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
