Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born 22nd February 1983. She is an American actor and comedian. She was the winner of 2008 on the NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza in a late-night talk show on Freeform in 2017. She has six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix introduced the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born in New York City to a Jewish family. She was raised up in Dallas, Texas by her parents, who relocated to Dallas when she was a infant. She went to the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas, where she studied Spanish and participated in the school's improvisation group.
Shlesinger was a performer at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She also performed in Semester at Sea. She went on to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she majored in film, honed her editing and writing skills, and joined one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Shlesinger graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was among the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
