Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968 was an American actress. She is well-known for her appearances on CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst the county of DuPage, Illinoisclose to Chicago and grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of a schoolteacher's parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish descent, but has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-92: Early career and college
She first came to Hollywood as a background actress in the film Lucas with Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She later joined her sister Betsy (Knox College) in Galesburg.
